Who Buys Washington Wheat?

The bulk of the state’s grain, approximately 85-90% , is exported. It is shipped out of Pacific Northwest (PNW) ports along the Columbia River. This grain goes to the our 2018 Top 5 importers: the Philippines, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, and Yemen, as well as other countries throughout the rest of the world.

Our biggest competitors in the world marketplace are Russia, Ukraine, Canada and Australia.
