1.1.19 Each year, organizers of the Tri State Grain Growers Convention search for a speaker outside of agriculture who can nevertheless provide lessons for farmers. At the 2018 convention in Portland, that speaker was Keni Thomas, a singer/songwriter today who was in 1992, a member of Bravo Company of the third Rangers Battalion of the U.S. army in Mogadishu, Somalia.
